How do you see SA? The San Antonio Dept. for Culture and Creative Development and the San Antonio Film Commission would like to invite filmmakers to submit original films, three (3) to seven (7) minutes in length, highlighting the Eastside, Southside, Westside and Northside visual tours featured on www.saculturaltours.com.
And new this year is the "My Favorite Spot" category, where filmmakers can choose either the Spanish Governor's Palace, Market Square, or La Villita to make a :30 second commercial or "spot".
Cash prizes will be offered for all 1st, 2nd and 3rd place films in the neighborhood category, and 1st place in the "My Favorite Spot" category. All films will be judged by a committee of industry professionals including artists, screenwriters, filmmakers and other media professionals.
Filmmakers MUST FIRST REGISTER to participate. Once registered, you will be assigned a neighhborhood to include in your film. If you choose "My Favorite Spot", you may choose any of the three venues.
After registering, you will receive a neighborhood assignment within 5-10 business days, so register early!
Registration opens February 4th, and closes on April 1st. All films are due and must be completed by May 1st, 2013. Look for a screening in early June.

Each film is scored on a 100 point scale, and must score at least 70 points to be eligible for a cash award.
